Founding Engineer (AI)

This is the first engineering hire opportunity at an early-stage, well-funded AI startup aiming to become a tech unicorn. Founded by experienced entrepreneurs who have raised over $10m in pre-seed funding, the company builds an AI-native platform that automates the admin and paperwork specialist engineers dislike, targeting the safety and compliance sector in a large market.

Their growth strategy involves acquiring profitable service businesses and onboarding them onto the platform for immediate users and real operational data.

As Founding Engineer / Tech Lead, you'll have significant ownership, designing and building the core platform, with a clear path to CTO before Series A. The role offers substantial equity, well above the typical sub-1%. Ideal for someone who enjoys building from scratch and applying AI to real-world operational problems.
